چکیده
This research presents a new study in reactive distillation by adopting consecutive reaction . The adopted was the saponification of diethyl adipate with NaOH solution. occurs two steps. process had role withdrawing intermediate product i.e. monoethyl from reacting mixture before second conversion to disodium occurred. It found that appeared successfully distillate liquid. percentage di-ester monoester greatly enhanced (reaching 86%) relative only 15.3% for case without .This means 5 times enhancement presence layers both and residual liquids noticed ,the upper (water) layer lower (ester) layer. However, water dominant .The excess solution calculated respect concentration (9%-79%) it increasing solution( until 40%) led increase monoester. also get pure made liquid appear as one Maximum been occurred rang (40%-60%). After 60% lowered noticeably.

The Kinetics of Saponification of Iodoacetic Acid by Sodium Hydroxide and by Certain Alkaline Buffer Solutions
1. The rate of the saponification of iodoacetic acid in sodium hydroxide and alkaline buffer solutions yielding glycollic acid was measured by means of Heyrovský's polarographic method. 2. From the bimolecular velocity constants, increasing with the ionic strength of the solution, the Brönsted factor, F, which characterizes the primary salt effect, was calculated. 3. In the borate buffer soluti...
متن کاملPrecipitation of reactive aluminium hydroxide from an acidic aluminium sulphate solution by addition of sodium hydroxide
The goal of the present thesis was to study the possibilities of producing an aluminium hydroxide, which would easily dissolve in hydrochloric acid. Furthermore, the product should be easy to dewater. In the experiments, which were made batch-wise, a 50% sodium hydroxide was used to accomplish the precipitation. The precipitation of aluminium hydroxide is a dynamic process that depends on many ...
متن کاملLeaching Kinetics of Stibnite in Sodium Hydroxide
Spherical pellets of antimony sulphide were dissolved in 1 molar sodium hydroxide solutions at different temperatures. It was found that the shrinking core with ash layer model could satisfactorily explain the dissolution process. Using this model it was found that initially the rate controlling step is a chemical reaction with activation energy of 10.2 kJ/mol. As the ash layer builds up, diffu...
متن کاملConceptual Design of Reactive Distillation Columns with Non-Reactive Sections
Reactive distillation has received intense attention due to the well known benefits of integrating distillation with reaction in a single unit. While there are procedures available for the synthesis of non-reactive columns and of reaction-separation systems, the design of reactive distillation columns is still a challenge. This work presents a new synthesis and design methodology for reactive d...
متن کاملEntrainer-enhanced Reactive Distillation
The paper presents the use of a Mass Separation Agent (entrainer) in reactive distillation processes. This can help to overcome limitations due to distillation boundaries, and in the same time increase the degrees of freedom in design. The catalytic esterification of fatty acids with light alcohols C2-C4 is studied as application example. Because the alcohol and water distillate in top simultan...
